EDC stands for ‘Everyday Carry’ – the tools you want to have with you at all times. If you have a mobile workshop then this could be quite an extensive list of tools, but if, like most of us, you don’t have such significant tool demands, and don’t want to have to use a vehicle to carry them around, you need to have a set of reliable tools you can carry with you. This naturally leads to a need for EDC tools to be lightweight without compromising on functionality.
