Handy adapter

This is handy for 1/4" drive sockets. They fit all the1/4" sockets i tried. Not sure why one reviewer complained about them not fitting. You are pretty much limited to the small screwdriver type bits tho. This works well on a Milwaukee surge type impact that doesn't have the violent powerful impacting action of a regular M12 or M18. Or it also works great with hand type drivers. I recommend as long as u realize its limitations. If your one of those EDC collectors that are into collecting little tools trying to achieve every tool combination they can (even though u know they never use that stuff) yeah add it to your goody bag u won't be disappointed. This is not a serious tool for contractors or for use on powerful tools.

Dynamite widget!

Inexpensive and useful! Switch from a bit driver to 1/4" socket in an instant. Shorter than the 2 others I've used so is more compact in a small kit, pouch, or working in cramped spaces. Ive already given several to friends, and they love them as well.

Use with the 711L lollipop

Great quality and length. I use these for bike adjustments before or after rides, changing components. I keep them in there little case.

This is actually a 3 in 1!

With the adapter sleeve pulled back, you have a 1/4" square male that fits into 1/4" square female sockets.With the adapter sleeve pushed forward, this will accept 1/4" hex male (like a bit extender) and 1/4" square male. The 1/4" square male I used had a ball detent, so that may have helped.So it connects with three types of attachments! Brilliant.

Why buy two when one will do?

What a great idea to combine an extention bit driver and a socket driver into one. Functionality is good as is the quality and works well in a compact EDC tool kit when space is at a premium.

Mindblowing brand

I really just can't say enough good things about this brand. This is such a small thing and it's still crafted like an engineering piece of art. Absolutely can't wait for more products from this brand. As far as function and quality on thos specific item, the lock up is the best I've ever experienced, fit and finish superb. Had a container with water leak in my bag and then sit for a day because i didnt notice. No rust. Would absolutely recommend.

Love it

This is just what I needed for my mini-tool kit. I keep a pocket sized repair kit with a Leatherman, 711L's Leatherman compatible ratchet, and a bunch of their "2D" 1/4-inch hex bits. Now I can add a bunch of 1/4-inch sockets and I'm in great shape for small repairs on the road!

Two Birds, One Stone

I carry a small screwdriver set with me a lot of the time and that set usually includes both a small extension for standard 1/4" shank bits and a 1/4" shank-to-1/4" socket adapter... or at least I used to do that until I bought this. It takes care of both for me. So handy. It is also really nice to pop the bits out by just pressing the adapter down. It makes getting those smaller, tapered bits out a lot easier.

Became part of the EDC tool pouch

Working on network equipment and many other lighter duty tasks, this one bit has replaced 2 different adapters in my tool pouch. Anyone who carries tools on their person daily knows less to keep up with, less to lose, and every bit of saved weight helps. Definitely not gimmicky, very well made.

Just beautiful 25 mm bits

After purchasing 711L’s beautiful 50mm bits I had to have these. There’s something wonderful about using objects that are beautifully designed. Just a pleasure in your fingers. Oh yes they work too. A good selection of bits. Interesting that they used dark blue on the 10 bits when the other two colors are yellow. I wish they offered more types/sizes. I’d buy more.

Just so handy to have at

I like 711L gear as it is well made, good quality and does the job it’s supposed to do, these double duty adapters are no exception can be used as a screwdriver bit adapter or as a socket adapter. Great functions easy to swap between socket or driver bits. Highly recommended to all.

I have no quibbles with the seller. In fact I am glad you made it. I now have one that fits all the rest of the multi tools, not just the Big L------ word. In fact I have changed it to a real hex bit adapter also. I have changed the other one to a hex bit adapter also. Now I have a ratchet for all my multi tools. Thank you.
