The story of why 711L Mk2 EDC ratchet wrenches are different from other EDC ratchet wrenches starts with our revised TG mini ratchet wrench that we released in 2025. When we were working on the design of the TG, we focused on quality, durability and user experience, to make a best-selling EDC ratchet wrench that had several unique features that we have continued with our Mk2 EDC ratchet wrench design.

Excellent engineering using high grade stainless alloys for the ratchet body and handle as well as improved high tensile steels for the toothed ratchet gives us a significant torque advantage, easier, fine ratcheting action and a comfortable, soft edged, ergonomic ratchet wheel grip. Spinning fasteners in until they need to be torqued up is now easy and efficient, and spinning them out once they have been released is rapid and painless.
T-bar & extension compatibility increases your reach
We tweaked the design of the ratchet head so that as well as providing a secure, locking fit for single and double-ended bits it also has complete T-bar compatibility, building on our successful T-handle EDC ratchet wrench. This allows the 711L Mk2 EDC ratchet wrenches to be used as a high-torque T-bar bit or socket driver with the appropriate adapters. As well as pass through, you can also use the 711L 7AX1CP extension bar to increase your reach for deep sockets and recessed fasteners.
Two versions to match your EDC gear preferences
We manufacture the Mk2 EDC ratchet wrench in two versions. The standard ¼” hex shaft version is compatible with any ¼” hex bit driver handle, and can be used with a T-bar and adapter to work as a highly functional T-bar bit or socket driver. We also make a flat bit holder version for Leatherman, and the profile of the flat shank is designed to also fit securely into any ¼” hex bit holder for maximum cross-compatibility.
