This extender is awesome, it looks good and feel like quality. There is a "T" on the extender that matches the "T" on the wrench to indicate where to position the piece for insertion. The extender also accepts "Wiha" double ended bits perfectly. I look forward to what else 711L is working on.

Wow. 711L nailed it! These bit adapters are sooo good. They feel very high quality and strong, and the knurling is perfect. The main thing you want in a "reach" end is to be able to spin it with your fingers and while the knurling doesn't feel too rough it does let you get a VERY solid grip on the shaft to spin the driver. I bought it a little too fast and didn't realize the package came with two adapters. Plus the holes at the end of the shaft are an unnecessary but very welcome addition. You can store a hidden bit between the ratchet and the adapter too (see picture). I'm more than happy with this purchase.

As with all 711L products, these are high quality bit extensions but their USP lies in their ability to convert the latest 711L min ratchet into a t-bar. I bought two in order to give me the ultimate flexibility with the ratchet in my EDC.

Such a clever little extension to the 711L ratchet. I'm now able to use sockets and bits with this one extension and the bits just push off. Takes minimum space in my edc pouch and is very versatile. Clever design. Now I can cap one in two different pouches.

You're mileage may very. I happen to love everything this company produces. There are two variations one with flat base for your leatherman and one with a standard 1/4" driver. On top that, it is a convertible piece allowing it to be both a 1/4" extension or accept a socket. Very cool indeed.

After purchasing 711Ls beautiful 50mm bits I had to have these. Theres something wonderful about using objects that are beautifully designed. Just a pleasure in your fingers. Oh yes they work too. A good selection of bits. Interesting that they used dark blue on the 10 bits when the other two colors are yellow. I wish they offered more types/sizes. Id buy more.

Anything by 711L is great and these drivers are no exception. Yes - they are expensive but as a technician, I love that they are colour coded and small. They fit perfectly in my 711L wrench. Perfect addition to my EDC tech bag for work emergencies.

Although this adapter has a groove on it and is compatible with impact drivers, it is not impact rated. We are now more focused on un-plugged tools, and might deliver more tools for power tools in the future.
A standard double ended 1/4″ hex bit is 45mm long, which is too long for this adapter.
