With the release of our new Y Torque Driver, the 711L EDC torque driver range now gives you options of a single, compact, inline torque driver for delicate projects and small fasteners and a 3-way torque driver which adds capability for larger fasteners and maintenance of more robust equipment, including bikes and some vehicle maintenance tasks. Let’s see how our EDC torque drivers compare.
A choice of two EDC torque driver formats to suit any project
Our inline 0-3 Nm EDC torque driver is ideal for most fasteners up to M4, great for delicate projects, and especially for mixed material fastening into plastic threads or brass bushings. The new 711L EDC Y Torque Driver gives you additional 4 Nm and 5 Nm options in a compact, customizable package that has the precision and robustness to suit more challenging projects.
What do you get with the new 711L EDC Y torque driver?
Our latest addition gives you three inline torque drivers with different ratings in one compact tool. The Y-shaped driver sits comfortably in the hand and provides excellent fine control as well as the added leverage for fasteners that need higher torque settings. This makes it a great basis for a bike tool, as we’ll be exploring in our next article!
What torque options do you get with the 711L EDC Y torque driver?
You get our existing 0-3 Nm torque driver as one of the three options in the Y-driver, alongside a 4 Nm and a 5 Nm inline driver. The combination of these different torques gives you the capability for more robust projects including bike maintenance as well as being able to work on delicate fasteners with the reassuring knowledge that you are using the correct torque and not going to damage them!
What are the torque settings of the 711L EDC Y Torque Driver?
- 0-3 Nm for delicate mixed materials and small fasteners up to M4
- 4.0 Nm (35.4 in-lb) for high grade M4 fasteners
- 5.0 Nm (44.3 in-lb) for M5 fasteners
Pocket sized EDC torque drivers that fit the palm of your hand

True pocket-sized power in the palm of your hand! Utility and simplicity with the single 0-3 Nm inline torque driver, and flexible customization with the 3-way Y torque driver.
What are the ideal uses for 711L EDC torque drivers?
- Safe, secure assembly of delicate fasteners & bushings
- Accurate torque loading of critical components
- Protecting small screws & bolts from excessive torque
- Enabling accurate torque fastening to engineering design standards
711L EDC torque drivers seamlessly connect with your EDC gear
Our new 711L EDC Y Torque Driver follows the same pathway for compatibility as our 0-3 Nm EDC Inline Torque Driver, and accepts any standard hex bits, adapters and accessories. Our inline torque driver fits our range of lollipop drivers as you can see above, which gives a great sense of feel for exactly how far you are turning your fastener.
If you have a Klein Tool, the 711L inline torque driver fits perfectly into the Klein grip as well, so you can mix and match to minimize your EDC gear loadout for the optimum set of tools for any project that requires additional torque control. If you don’t need the 3-way versatility of the Y torque driver, then just pack the single inline torque driver for smaller tasks.
711 EDC Torque Drivers enhance your 711L EDC Gear Collection
Our range of EDC torque drivers are built with style, materials and functionality that match the high standards of the entire range of 711L EDC gear. Our new torque drivers sit perfectly alongside the 711L Lollipop EDC Bit Driver, EDC Y Driver and EDC ratchet wrenches.
