Read MoreOne of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. It is smaller than it appears to be and is great quality. Recomand. TIP: For those who purchases the Steinwhale stubby screwdrivers for the bits, they work perfectly with 711L ratchet. Those bits, the ratchet, and the case the ratchet comes in make a great pocket tool kit.
Read MoreI use a Wera Kraftform 90mm driver handle with the Rapidaptor holder as a handle for this awesome and tiny ratchet - perfect for setting tension on s-c door hinges, especially when the casing would otherwise interfere with a larger ratchet, even the Prestacycle.

Read MoreSize doesn't matter...Great little ratchet. This is so small that it fits right in my VIPERADE VE1 EDC Tool Pocket Organizer with the "frequently purchased together" Steinwhale 10in1 Short Stubby Mini Screwdriver and also my Gerber Gear Armbar Slim Drive. Now I feel like my EDC toolkit is complete. It came in a nice metal box with foam insert to shape of ratchet. No bit included which is NOT a problem. Zero defects on the tool itself and just a small defect on the case to the top right of the "L" in the last picture. (Assuming they are in the order I uploaded them) You'd likely need to zoom in to see it. I like defect free products, cases include, but this is so minor I don't mind and still give it 5 stars. I'd only mention one thing. The Steinwhale bits I mention above are great but are a little sticky when first inserting into the ratchet. At first one bit only went in part way but when reversed fit fine. Then I tried another bit which sank TOO far into the ratchet and the clip on the ratchet head was keeping it from coming back out. No amount of pulling or pushing made it come free and even refused to budge when I begrudgingly grabbed the bit with plyers. In the end I had to remove the clip which wasn't exactly easy to get back on for the bit to slide out. Maybe this is a problem that will disappear in time as I use it more but I just want to emphasize these Steinwhale bits aren't made specifically for the ratchet and may become stuck. This obviously isn't the fault of either company but I want to be transparent that these bits may become stuck in the ratchet requiring some effort to remove. Aside from that it's a great product and I'd buy this again if ever lost or as a gift. Shipped on time.
Read MoreSmall but MIGHTY As a father of 3 kids this little ratchet wrench has come in handy anytime I have had to build something from small to big. This little tool has become a staple in my household tool bag. I use a magnetic bit extender to house this in while I work on projects around the house. I built a crib, a bed, it even helped me with car repairs. 10/10 I can't recommand this enough.
Read MoreThis fits well into my pocket pouch (Gentlestache) along with a small set of about 5 bits. Odd looking, and everyone laughs at its size until I have to use it. Then it works great, takes up no space and goes back into my pocket. Primarily use it for fixing things, tightening etc when out and about. A little overpriced, but not regretting it now. Would buy 3 more (one for everyone) if the cost was lower.
Read MoreTerrific little ratchet. Well made and very sturdy. Liked it so well Ive bought three.
Read MoreThis is a super tiny, very high quality 4mm bit ratchet. Its made in Taiwan, not China. Everything is well machined and smooth where it should be. It fit every 4mm bit I had to throw at it as well. The bits dont snap into place like most 1/4 bit ratchets, instead they are just held with friction from the retaining clip. This is fine and it is tight enough that its not an issue.
Read MoreI used this to install a new transmission cover on a Harley with the M8 motor. There is not a lot of room so you cannot get at some of the bolts with a ratchet. This was ideal.
Read MoreThis item saves me massive time. Which equals money... can you afford to not use it? Does your patience need some reprieve? Buy smarter tools!
Read MoreI bought this for funzies because its tiny and awesome... but turns out its actually useful! If you shove this in your pocket with a handful of shank bits, it is surprising what you can get done.
Read MoreThe quality of this product is obvious, excellent Taiwanese craftsmanship that I expect to be a buy-it-for-life item; this is part of my EDC.
Read More711L offers some unique products, very small sized tools. The quality is great, using Taiwanese manufacture that probably produces tools for many other well-known brands.
Read MoreThis allowed me to get into places I couldnt get with any other tool on my Harley Davidson motorcycle. It was a lifesaver well worth the purchase.
Read MorePulled this out in the shop and got a good laugh from the guys. Over time, though, the laughs turned into funny looks, and suddenly I was the weirdo hiding in the corner, taking solo jobs and quietly assembling my arsenal of tiny tools and a mini toolbox. Efficiency and lightweight capability became my obsession ultralight EDC kit builds on YouTube were my new religion. Then came the day: a Thursday afternoon, tasked with removing the exhaust manifold on a 2003 Chevy Silverado. Out came my trusty mini ratchet, adapter, and socket. Most of the nuts came off, but one stubborn nut refused thanks to some bent housing. Thinking I was clever, I turned my mini ratchet into a hammer, and thats when it hit me literally and figuratively. This is an amazing mini ratchet, but wow, its absolutely terrible as a hammer. What a betrayal.
Read MoreThis tiny ratchet is so handy for reaching those hard-to-reach spots especially under the hood of my car. You can extend the handle by inserting a 1/4 allen wrench into the female hex end. I also own 711L's Lollipop screwdriver that has an ingenious pop-out lever for extra torque. These tools are well made their fit and finish is silky smooth. Designed and made in Taiwan, these tools are on-par with the best of American or German-made tools.
Read MoreIf youre looking for a tiny ratchet for anything from tight spaces to putting together an EDC kit, look at all 711L tools. The satin chrome is nice, they come in spectacular packaging, and they are fun to play with. The male version, the one being reviewed, is slightly different than the female. The selector lever and the knurled spinner wheel are the most obvious. Neither changes anything. The biggest difference is the tooth count. This one has a better count at 60. Switch levers are easy to use and the wheel makes starting/finishing fasteners convenient.

Read MoreI probably qualify as a collector of 711L mini-ratchets at this point, but why not? 711L tools are really nicely designed and manufactured. This one is as good as all its kin, and adds an extension that can also be used (carefully) as a T-handle. This one is a winner in every way, as long as you remember these are really micro-ratchets. Strong, yes; strong for their size, yes. Replace your regular normal size bit ratchet? Probably not, but you could put this in the fifth pocket of your jeans and I guarantee it will end up in the washing machine someday soon.
