Another 711L Winner

I probably qualify as a collector of 711L mini-ratchets at this point, but why not? 711L tools are really nicely designed and manufactured. This one is as good as all its kin, and adds an extension that can also be used (carefully) as a T-handle. This one is a winner in every way, as long as you remember these are really micro-ratchets. Strong, yes; strong for their size, yes. Replace your regular normal size bit ratchet? Probably not, but you could put this in the fifth pocket of your jeans and I guarantee it will end up in the washing machine someday soon.

The tool you thought you didn't need.

Exactly as described. Well made, and exactly what I needed. I would like to suggest putting a magnet at the end of the handle so that when used with a Klein 1/4 inch socket, it will magnetically hold a hex bit in place. I was able to glue one on mine with CA glue, and it just made it even more amazing. Other than that, this tool is amazing for its size. Makes for a perfect EDC tool. Takes up very little space. Loving it!

If you're looking for a micro ratcheting tool, 711L is the top shelf brand. I've tried and used a multitude of these particular micro ratcheting tools while serving as a aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Navy and this one by 711L has been the most impressive. Buy with confidence.

Portable and versatile - great for use around the house

I've been using this around the house and the small size has come in handy to get into tight spots. Works a treat for stuff like beds, kids toys, assembling furniture. I store it in an action camera case with a few other small tools, like a stubby screwdriver with bits built in to the handle, and a small knipex spanner wrench. There's a lot of videos on YouTube about using this with the Klein tools pop sockets. What doesn't work is putting the Klein tools shank straight in to the ratchet. The reason I wanted to be able to do this, is so can use the extension for the handle. Instead you have to put the extension to the ratchet, and then the Klein tools shank in to the extension. This leaves you with a short handle (picture attached). I also wish there was a bit piece that I could use to attach the Klein tools socket without using their shank. The consolation is that they give you a regular socket connector now to use with regular sockets.

IMO the best mini locking flex head ratchet

Great for those tight areas. The locking flex is great. I appreciate that the 1/4 hex part is close to the head, that way I can better control the overall length with different attachments. For me it is well worth the money.

Really well made tool

I've been getting into small portable tools lately as I really like the utility of getting in small spaces and this little wrench has already proven itself useful in scenarios around the house that no other tool would have been able to do. It's built to last.

Not perfect, but better than most

Eventually used in anger. The direction throw is a bit too light to switch, but ratchet can take a good amount of force. Finger spinner black part is solidly stacked unlike on some small ratchets. Ratchet pawl is a bit heavy so I was having to leave a finger on the bit too give drag. But if I lost it tomorrow, is but this one again

Reliable part of my edc

I do Hvac/plumbing thing lives on my keychain and comes out at work on a daily basis great for getting into tough spots inside of furnaces and boilers doing hvac work. Ive put it to use on removing/ installing pipe hangers in a pinch when I donʼt have my impact driver with me in crawlspaces. I've also put a decent amount of torque through it on 4" fernco/misson couplings and its held up well so far at this point if it breaks I would most likely buy the same one again.

Perfect for adjusting self-closing door hinges.

I use a Wera Kraftform 90mm driver handle with the Rapidaptor holder as a handle for this awesome and tiny ratchet - perfect for setting tension on s-c door hinges, especially when the casing would otherwise interfere with a larger ratchet, even the Prestacycle.

Small but MIGHTY

Small but MIGHTY As a father of 3 kids this little ratchet wrench has come in handy anytime I have had to build something from small to big. This little tool has become a staple in my household tool bag. I use a magnetic bit extender to house this in while I work on projects around the house. I built a crib, a bed, it even helped me with car repairs. 10/10 I can't recommand this enough.

So cute

Pulled this out in the shop and got a good laugh from the guys. Over time, though, the laughs turned into funny looks, and suddenly I was the weirdo hiding in the corner, taking solo jobs and quietly assembling my arsenal of tiny tools and a mini toolbox. Efficiency and lightweight capability became my obsession ultralight EDC kit builds on YouTube were my new religion. Then came the day: a Thursday afternoon, tasked with removing the exhaust manifold on a 2003 Chevy Silverado. Out came my trusty mini ratchet, adapter, and socket. Most of the nuts came off, but one stubborn nut refused thanks to some bent housing. Thinking I was clever, I turned my mini ratchet into a hammer, and thats when it hit me literally and figuratively. This is an amazing mini ratchet, but wow, its absolutely terrible as a hammer. What a betrayal.

What a great little edc ratchet

Just what I was looking for to place inside one of my edc pouches. I added a couple of bits inside the tin and it slides in taking very little Room. I did order the extension arm as well to make it extra versatile. Im looking forward to the revised edition coming out soon.

Looks like it will come in handy at some point

I bought it more for the novelty of it, and I know that if I didn't buy it, weeks after glancing over it, I'd find myself in a situation where myself or helping a friend would have benefitted having this. I'll never be faced with this problem now because I bought it!!! Truth be told, this isn't the first time I've bought a tool I didn't really need, but in the long run, I always ended up with a situation to use it. So if you're on the fence, just buy it!!!

Use the correct orientation for flat bits in the ratchet

This product is great. Both double and single-ended bits with both ends of the tool, including leatherman-style flat bits. There is one caveat about fitting the flat bits in the ratchet end, which is that you need to make sure the wide ends are inserted to align with the retention spring, or the bit will just fall out of the adapter. You can see where the spring crosses one of the corners, making just one out of 3 possible orientations the correct one to insert flat bits

EDC must.

Pretty cool gadget to have, not meant for "high torque " situations, but it will get you out of a punch. I put a pellet smoker together with this. Great on tight spots. Only downside, doesn't come with bits. I still like it.

Incredibly small but still strong

Incredibly compact but still holds bits very securely and handles torque. Only downside is maybe it holds the bits too strongly! Sometime it's difficult to remove certain bits from the end without a pair of pliers.
